Why do I only have pain in one heel?

I only have pain in one heel

Why do I only have pain in one heel? We have heard this a thousand times in our store. The only real answer is that your feet, just like other parts of your body, are not identical. The

bone and tissue structures are not the same in

both feet. The weaker side will usually develop foot pain and symptoms first. As you begin to favor the injured foot you may begin to experience pain in your knees, hips or lower back.  Other pains are not uncommon because as

you favor the injured foot, you will alter your gait.  Gait is the manner or pattern which you walk.  When you alter it you can overload your ankles, knees and hips.  The end result can be additional joint or muscle pain in addition to
your heel pain.  Treat your foot problem before it develops into other problems!
