Pronation and Plantar Fasciitis

Pronation is a biomechanical function of the foot. Below the right foot shows excessive pronation and the left foot is in the neutral positon. The left foot has been aligned properly with an orthotic. Excessive pronation similar to the foot on the right is a leading cause for heel pain.
